How to Capture or Upload Video Thumbnails

VIDIZMO allows you to capture, upload, and update thumbnails for media files. You can either capture a thumbnail from within the video or upload a custom image.

Thumbnails can be set:

  • During the upload process
  • From Media Manager after uploading (requires Moderator or higher permissions)
  • 3840x2160 (4K)
  • 2560x1440 (2K)
  • 1920x1080 (Full HD)

NOTE: When uploading media, VIDIZMO automatically generates a thumbnail if the file is MP4 or HTML5-playable. For other formats, the thumbnail is created during transcoding.
